#DecolonizeResistExist + Trauma. I was going through communications from the father of my kids and his attorney when we were going through our divorce, I had to look up something. + I was just going through the emails quickly, but I needed to sort of checking them all out because I didn't know where the information I needed to find was. + I felt pressure in my chest, I felt cold sweats and my heart starting beating really hard. I felt like crying and I felt annoyed and upset. I found what I needed and I closed that email. + I am sharing this with you, to show you how trauma works, after I read the emails, I felt like texting him and telling him something mean, there are some pending issues I have to check with him and I thought this was the best opportunity to blast at him. Although we have been really good and we have both been proactive in regards to our healing process, at that moment I just wanted to be a BITCH. + I caught myself right away and I was able to take a step back, take deep breaths and I noticed how my trauma got triggered by reading all of that mess that happened. + This is how our trauma gets triggered, my ancestors believed we hold trauma in our blood, its all part of our dna, at the time they understood this concept, they didn't have the technology to show "scientific" evidence, but this is something that has been proven today. + When we read, when we observe an event that brings us back to something traumatic we experienced (PTSD) + When we have either emotional or physical pain, and we observe other people sharing so happy about something we don't have, that will trigger our traumas. + I have been taking the time to learn about my traumas, to observe without reacting, because I have been in that space, where I was in constant triggered mode by things I read, I am still healing and its important for me to understand that healing has no expiration date and some days will be great and some days will be shitty. I do understand today that I can't be going out reflecting my trauma at people because that takes my power away and the power I have over my own life and my healing. + Continue below in comments. ??
#DecolonizeResistExist + I don’t treat any white People as heroes for speaking up about issues that were CAUSED to begin with by White People. + Is their JOB to do that. Is their JOB to speak up against racism, or any other social issues that affect people of color or the planet. + We know the white supremacy system we all live in is run to benefit white People the most, so for white People to speak up isn’t a RADICAL thing to do. + Indigenous people on the other hand have been fighting against capitalism and colonialism for hundreds of years and they are still the least heard voices. They are still put way far back in regards to their rights. + Nobody cares if they want clean water or they want their lands back. + I get some people would say, what about UNITY?!?? There is no unity while indigenous people get treated less than humans while white people benefit from the effects colonialism has left on the lands we know as the Americas. + There is no UNITY when is only white privileged people the ones that can speak up about STRIKES and they won’t get killed nor put in jail for speaking up. + As an indigenous woman that has seen my people suffer, that I know first hand what capitalism and colonialism does to my people, I won’t be here applauding a white girl for doing something that’s the job of every single white person to do!! + Truth is strikes like this are just fucking jerk off circles which continue to support the same systems that are affecting our planet and indigenous people. U think this strike is truly gonna save the planet? ???????????????????????????????????
RepostBy @hijadeitzpapalotl: "#DecolonizeResistExist + Many are so hungry to be able to embrace what it is to be US. But when it comes down to it they don’t want our pain, oppression, struggle, our past, nor our present lived experiences + Many are so lost that they think the only way to “find” themselves is by doing the very same thing their ancestors did. A trauma that we have been trying to heal for hundreds of years, but if we talk about it, it means we are lost, angry, and divisive. + Truth is, no matter how many ceremonies they go to, no matter how they dress, no matter how many feathers they wear, dreamcatchers they hang, how much cacao or ayahuasca they drink or how much sage they burn, they will remain to be LOST + They will never know what it is to be us. + We just ARE We carry the knowledge We don’t have to pretend + I’m here just being ME. I just am. My knowledge is in my blood and in my skin. No one could ever copy that. + Ironically. I’m indigenous and I never wear feathers in my hair. I never paint my face, and I don’t do cacao ceremonies even though it’s part of my ancestry + **I’m reposting some of the words I have shared on my other page. Which is no longer active. I’m also preparing some new content.
#DecolonizeResistExist + We can’t change anything external to us before we look within ourselves first. + ....and FYI social media “activism” is fake. Only selling more division and hate to the masses. When I see a bunch of privileged people of color talking about the suffering of people with no privileged, I can’t take them seriously. Acquiring followers and likes in the name of “activism” is only a performative way “to seem to care.” While they live a very comfy life, when I see many traveling all over the world but then again they seem to care about others suffering right?!?! Oh! But when white people do something “wrong” they are ready to attack and tell them how they are perpetuating white supremacy, it’s always easy to judge others than take a look at ourselves. + Check out my NEW article on my Patreon page. Link in bio. + Check my other page @adecolonizationmovement to learn more about my work.
#DecolonizeResistExist + It’s important to share that people of color we don’t get a pass and we are not free from perpetuating colonial mentality onto other people of color. + Since I always speak from experience I’m referring to what I see many indigenous people who live in the USA do in regards to accepting the patriarchal white supremacy system. + Indigenous people from the lands we know as Mexico continue to face oppression today and the effects of colonialism has created such a ripple effect that these voices are the less heard when it comes to any global social and environmental issues. + The knowledge these indigenous people have left for the world to admire is beyond anything any other civilization has created, and yet no matter how rich their culture is, they are the ones who DONT get to see the benefits of that richness + I see many indigenous people who live in the USA perpetuating colonial mentality and cultural appropriation while profiting from traditions who belong to these people. + Most of these people still live in disparity and have no access to clean resources nor they benefit from their rich traditions, because capitalism only benefits those who can play the game of the system and those who take advantage of the most oppressed. + It’s not just yt people perpetuating this harm, is also indigenous people who live in the USA.
#DecolonizeResistExist + WE NEED TO DISMANTLE the entire White Supremacy & Patriarchal system in order to create a change. + We all are part of it, including people of color, and there is poc who also benefit from this system and perpetuate oppression against their own people. + I just shared a new post on my Patreon page. It’s public. I’m showing myself vulnerable and sharing some deep thoughts. + This is the beginning of a new path for me. Looking forward to share my medicine from a more balanced and grounded space in my life.
#DecolonizeResistExist + Lately I’m focusing more on the privileges I have, recognizing that many of the privileges I have aren’t FREE of the OPPRESSION of others. + Recognizing that while I’m here at home enjoying life, and feeling safe, there are many people around the world who don’t share this sense of safety nor this sense of well being. + Gratitude for the beautiful things I have, whether they are tangible or not, is an important aspect of my daily routine. + I’m aware that some of the food I have access to, didn’t make it to my table without causing oppression, death and pain to others. Becoming more mindful of the way I eat has become very important in my life. + Also it’s important to understand that being vegan is a personal choice but ITS A FACT that veganism isn’t gonna prevent climate change nor is helping with social justice.
Finally got to watch the movie Saand Ki Aankh (Bullseye) today ? What an incredible story ??? and a must watch for everyone ? This movie is a tight slap on the faces of men who abuse women & term them & their traits as "aurat" & "aurton wale kaam" generalising them into stereotypical roles ✋; & an even tighter slap on the faces of women who try to bring their own tribe down by gossiping, discriminating & conspiring against them ✋ The #shooterdadi teach us an important life lesson that it is utmost important to stand up for yourself & live life on your own terms giving two hoots about people's opinion about you. It's your life and your decisions & anyone who has a problem with it, can go fly a kite ?♀️ . . . #saandkiaankh #bullseye #amustwatch #brilliant #movie #lifelessons #standupforyourself #saynotonegativity #saynotohaters #fightinjustice #selfrespect #livelifeonyourterms #dumptoxicpeople #stayawayfromnegativepeople
#DecolonizeResistExist + Real life has been full. Lots of different changes in my life, and taking baby steps. + Winter is here so it’s a time of introspection and silence. Making things happen without forcing anything. + This time can also become very hectic around us. Forcing us to fall into domestications and programming that NO LONGER SERVES us as human species. + Everyday is a learning experience, we have been programmed to believe all these lies. But if you catch yourself falling for it, take a moment to reflect on how these ideas are actually outdated and continuing to support them will only bring the human extinction!!! + The time to EVOLVE IS HERE NOW!!! And it’s up to each one of us. + The time to be blaming “The Man” or “Those in Power” is an outdated human condition when we are also complicit. + This winter season should be a time to let go of those outdated ideas. We can’t longer accept that when the TRUTH IS OUT THERE
#DecolonizeResistExist + When you buy into the idea (literally and figuratively) that you need something external to find yourself isn’t EMPOWERMENT at all. + Capitalism controls every aspect of our lives. When we think CONSUMPTION is going to bring us happiness, empowerment and self realization then we are completely lost + Everything we need is inside ourselves. It takes time to reach that state of awareness, but the easy path is not what teaches us about ourselves. It’s the hard lessons. + Today we want everything ready on a pre-packaged way. Easy to digest and at the tip of our fingers. + My ancestors created one of the most advanced civilizations. Their technology was super advanced and I’m going to confidently say that even more advanced than today as they paved the path for the next generations. Their discoveries happened because they took the time to study nature. + Yes!!!We need to take time to know ourselves, it’s messy, not easy and no matter how many life coaches, books, crystals, incense we burn, how many empowerment talks or workshops we attend. If we don’t truly look inside we are only supporting capitalism and it’s lies. We are supporting what makes us disconnect from ourselves. + The empowerment movement makes us lazy and glamorizes what it truly is to know ourselves.
#DecolonizeResistExist + A white girl came to one of my posts trying to “teach” me about how at the end of the day “we all are the same” and no one owns any spiritual traditions. + She said that expecting people to not practice other traditions is “dangerously narcissistic” + The bubble most white People live in is a very delusional one. + After more than 15 years in the “spiritual communities” in capitalistic westernized societies, I saw how the idea of changing the world was only accessible for those who could pay to attend these spaces. This is why I stepped out of anything that had to do with this delusional world. + If you still support people, teachers, instafamous people who aren’t creating a real change you are also part of the problem.
#DecolonizeResistExist + Did you know cbd from hemp is just a placebo? + In order for cbd to work in our bodies as medicine it HAS TO HAVE THC. + Hemp is a medicine for the earth, it can clean up the soil from toxins. Can be used as a clean combustible. We wouldn’t have to kill so many trees as we could use hemp for everything that wood or trees are used for. Paper. Fabric. Construction materials. And so much more. + Due to the fact that hemp is a bioaccumulator, which means it can be used as a way to remediate the soil. The fact that hemp cleans the soil from any toxins it means that those toxins go to the plant. Therefore the process to CLEAN and process hemp to extract cbd at the end DOESNT make it healthy for humans, nor it works as medicine. + I have done extensive research about this, as a farmer and a consumer as well. + Cbd from cannabis plants has helped me in so many ways and it’s surprising to me to see this whole frenzy about hemp, you can buy it pretty much anywhere, and the only reason why is because it doesn’t have the THC, but without that component it loses its powerful medicinal values. + I definitely see the many benefits of hemp as a way to clean the soil and as a way to remediate the damage we have done. Because hemp is way more sustainable than to use petroleum and its byproducts. + The information is out there, this isn’t a secret. The oil I use comes from cbd cannabis plants grown in our farm. + Btw all the oils that you see out there, all the pyramid scheme companies selling cbd are just a joke. It’s peoples own choice on whether they want to support that or not, I’m just sharing facts and it’s up to each individual to search for the truth, or not.
#DecolonizeResistExist + AGING. It feels so good to me. I’m so confident in my skin, in my body. I love my white hair. I love my wrinkles. I’m embracing the change of my blood cycle. + I’m feeling way more empowered at this age than when I was in my 20’s still domesticated and colonized as fuck. Believing all the crap that was given to me by this fucked up society. + I’m not afraid of aging nor dying. I’m actually embracing every single moment of my life. + At the end we all are going to die and all the time we waste on bullshit isn’t coming back. + I’m shifting and my voice is gaining even more power. I truly don’t care what anybody thinks. + Did I pay thousands of dollars to get to this space? No I DIDNT. I just listened to myself and I was able to get all the domestication out of my life. + All the money I spent in the “spiritual fake movement” didn’t help me for shit. On the contrary it only created a delusional world for myself. + Empowerment doesn’t cost any money. It’s within ourselves. We just choose to stay disempowered
#DecolonizeResistExist + I took this picture yesterday. I like to hang out with the girls and the boy. They are so cute. + They give us the most delicious eggs, super clean and I just have to give them good food and loving. + There is a shift happening as I come near my New Year. Age is a social construct, in regards that we are so fixated in wanting to stop time. I have been in this planet for 42 years, according to the calendar colonizers gave us. + Maybe my age is different, maybe I am ageless. Maybe I just connect with the ancient ways more than with this colonized societies. Have you read “jitterbug perfume” such a good book, it talks about many things and one of those things is about aging. I read that book when I was very young and I became fascinated with that idea of becoming ageless. + I feel I have kept a very young attitude and my free spirit won’t ever let me to take things too serious. + Im making my way home and I couldn’t be happier. I have wanted that for the past 7 years. This is the end of the 7 year cycle. I didn’t plan it this way, but sprit works this way.

Ladies don't seek validation externally from the male gaze. But do consider if you're making false projections or this is a mutual understanding. < ya feel me > ok eye am going to sleep. Being a cat mom has been a lot lol ? #stop #callingme #thatshit #gracias
#DecolonizeResistExist + This quote resonated with me a lot. Specially when many of us work constantly just to pay bills, and when after working your ass off you are still unable to provide for yourself or your family that is very discouraging. + Capitalism has created slaves of all of us. But the mental slavery is what keeps us playing the game.
#DecolonizeResistExist + For a long time I have been sharing my thoughts and experiences while living in the USA, and I have been expressing how for me living in this westernized capitalistic society is extremely hard. + Growing up in the lands we know as Mexico was a very different experience. + The more I disconnect from constantly being bombarded with information that affects my brain (social media and electronics) I see more and more the hypocrisy of the so called “social justice social media activists” + It’s all Great that people are sharing facts, and information about this fucked up system. But truth is bitching and “sharing awareness” on social media about this fucked up system, doesn’t mean WE ARE NOT PART OF THE SYSTEM, NOR PART OF THE PROBLEM. + If you have a smartphone If you have credit If you have a mortgage or car payments If you buy goods, anything that it’s not a necessity, with credit cards If you use cars and use gas or diesel If you have a tv If you have a computer If you travel by plane ... and the list goes on + No matter how cool, activist, woke or how much “decolonized” shit you want to share about, like “Decolonizing diets, herbs, gender, motherhood, etc etc etc” ??♀️?on your Instagram page, I have news for you. Which are FACTS. + You ARE NOT DECOLONIZED, you aren’t a social justice activist and you aren’t fighting capitalism. + In FACT, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM just like everybody else. Just like people who voted for trump, just like people that “woke” people might see as ignorants and colonizers. ??? + ...and all of this that I’m sharing are my thoughts but these are FACTS. Enjoy your jerk off circles ??♀️?
#DecolonizeResistExist + Been off social media. My life doesn’t stop nor my work, but I needed to shift my energy from these spaces. Social media is a double edge sword. I’m thankful for the amazing connections I have made, but the good thing about those connections is that we don’t need this space to connect with each other. I’m looking to create more personal connections. + At the same time social media spaces do create a delusional idea and it is affecting the way we interact with people and ourselves. I’m tired of seeing all the fakeness, bullshit and hypocrisy that prevails in these spaces. + I have been working as you can see. I literally woke up. Put on my birth suit ? and Im harvesting my beautiful girls. We also harvested 80 pounds of apples!!! ? + I have been working a lot, yesterday we received the news the state approved our annual license!!!!!????♀️ it’s been many years working towards this, and I feel a huge sense of accomplishment, specially because it’s hard to function in this society and yet I achieved something in this society by doing it my way and it feels fucking amazing!!! + I feel 2020 is coming with full force and I needed to reclaim my sovereignty away from all this delusional thinking. I needed to put in action what I preach and be in total mastery of myself so I can do my work without falling into these illusions. + A lot of shifts, all my writings are going to be on my Patreon and my podcast will have a new episode by November 1st. These last two months of this colonized calendar are coming in full force for me. I feel way more focused and I’m not getting sidetracked by any bullshit. ??♀️ + I will continue to use this space, but it’s definitely going to be very different. + Have a beautiful day. We got the power back but only for one day, they are shutting it off tomorrow til Monday, so need to get back to work.
#DecolonizeResistExist + A new era for cannabis is here. January 2020 will be the year anniversary when prop64 went in full effect. Leaving thousands of farmers out of the state regulated industry. + Many changes are happening, many don’t seem to care, while they think it’s cool to “get high” and have access to all kinds of goodies by just walking into a dispensary. It’s like the disconnection we have from food. Many don’t think where it comes from and what it took to grow it. + I have been involved in the cannabis farming community for many years and it’s unfortunate to say that I’m one of those farmers. We will continue to grow our medicine but I wouldn’t want to be part of anything that is regulated by the government and today being part of cannabis is going to be part of corporate and capitalistic bullshit. + This magnificent plant is getting corrupted as fuck to make a few filthy rich just like everything capitalism and the white supremacy system gets a hold of for the only purpose to profit.
#DecolonizeResistExist + I have been pondering as to why people in general (yt and poc) think it’s important to use the word shamanic to sell spirituality. Why people think is extremely important they are seen as “shamans” to be taken more seriously or for people to believe if they are “shamans” they are definitely going to “heal me” + The fact that people have used this word to create fakeness and sell lies, makes me not want to be considered a Shaman. I stay away of anything that becomes part of the status quo mainstream brainwashing lies. + I’m not a shaman and I will never ever want to be considered a shaman. Wow!! What a fucking responsibility for people having to pretend all the fucking time. I mean if all these so called “shamans” are part of reality, are complicit with the systems of oppression, are part of the problem (like all of us) I don’t think those people have anything to teach me. You see I go out and I learn more from the homeless, “dangerous”people, hurt people, alcoholic, drug abusers and all the misfits out there than from any “shaman” that can do fucking rituals and ceremony, charges me money and I don’t see they are actually doing the actual work + Being a shaman today is bluff and fake shit. I’m not a shaman. I’m a curandera a witch not a good witch sometimes and sometimes I’m good. It all depends. I don’t heal anyone nor I will do rituals and mandala flowers to tell you this is the way to connect with yourself. If I were to tell you, you need something external to create that I would be selling lies. + Life is a ritual constantly. We live in ceremony connecting with our dark or light. But it happens everyday. It’s okay. We need to get in touch with that. + I don’t need anything external connect with myself. It’s all in me. I have done all the rituals, ceremonies, flower mandalas, followed emails that I got about that new moon ritual to attract love ??? + I have tried it all. I’m 42 years old. At this time I can tell you. It’s all in here. Yes! We have lost track and we just need to get back to that. But believe me. Don’t buy into the lies of everybody with the label as “shaman” it’s corrupted now.
#DecolonizeResistExist + I see many people, whether they are white, brown, black, indigenous or not, that are capitalizing off of peoples pain, and selling LIES. Offering “Shamanic Healing sessions.” Using capitalistic tools to promote their “Shamanic powers” + A True Shaman isn’t part of this capitalistic society, a True Shaman lives a frugal life and it’s not promoting “Shamanic Medicine” on social media ????♀️??♀️?? + True Shamans have lived and died in poverty or have lived very very frugal and simple lives, away from capitalistic societies, they didn’t go in search of “clients,” people came to them, because that’s the whole thing about being a True Shaman, they don’t go out giving their powerful medicine just because, when people is ready, they will come to them. + A True Shaman doesn’t even label themselves as “Shamans” and are not screaming out to the world “Look at me, I’m a Shaman” + A True Shaman, has lived a life in full connection with nature and most of True Shamans are elders. + A True Shaman didn’t take a course online nor took a course with anyone else and paid for it! + Lately I see many people of color, specifically indigenous to these lands (The USA) and south of the border, that use this word very irresponsibly to SELL and to make money. + People of color that want to corrupt these practices by having a sense of entitlement that just because they are indigenous they have the right to call themselves Shamans and profit from this. Indigenous people who feel the right to call out white people doing the same, but they fail to look at themselves, and they are doing just the same. + Part of the decolonization path as individuals is to let go of any delusional ideas that keeps us programmed to think that what we need in order to heal or know our true essence is outside ourselves. + Anyone who labels themselves as “Shamans” and it’s part of this capitalistic and colonized society is a FAKE. + I’m an indigenous woman to the lands we know as Mexico, my ancestors were some powerful Shamans, yet That doesn’t mean I’m a Shaman.
#DecolonizeResistExist + I believe there is Love in each and everyone of us. It’s not coming from Things. Plant Medicines. Yoga classes. Meditation. “Gods.” Relationships. Etc It comes from within. + I also believe there is the opposite of Love in each and everyone of us. The dark aspects of who we are. Many of us like to look the other way pretending that’s not true. + We don’t have to look far away to see both the Light and the Dark. All of it is happening in our backyard. + Pilar Mejía

Maybe Instagram is punishing me for being outspoken and for not giving fucks about colonizers entities burning down. + I’m not attached. I’m not feeling a loss of content, pictures, followers, or likes. Ironically at the moment I’m cleansing my home and I’m letting go of a lot of my belongings. Practicing detachment on a physical aspect is easy for me. + I was going through my pictures and I felt I wanted to share this picture.
